Also known as wine this ring is made in sterling silver with a red , brown or hard to get blue tint like wine flavors. Red wine was known as 'vinum atrum' while white was called 'vinum candidum' but, unlike the wines we know today, ancient wine was cloudy and acidic. It also had to be filtered and watered down to reduce its high alcohol content, sometimes even with snow in winter.
